Besaw Couple
Uh oh… I forgot my favorite Fort Drum photographers sessions forever go…. Oops.
Brittany is awesome guys. Go ahead and check out her Facebook and website now because everyone is getting her as their recommendation for Fort Drum pictures. 😉
But for real this chick is an awesome friend and it really sucks that we are moving so far away. It is only a “see you later” though! These two are also a blast
to photograph. I mean not only are they too adorable but they also aren’t afraid to get silly and loosen up. That is how you get the best pictures. ❤

Mezzles Birth
My last NNY birth. 😦
I miss them already. I am really starting to get sad about leaving Fort Drum. I have meet so many wonderful people and this was were I really jumped into this crazy dream of owning my own business.
Kristin is one of those people. She is such a sweet heart. She helped walk me through the steps of figuring out essential oils (which are amazing by the way seriously check them out) and has been nothing but patient since my laptop broke the morning after her deliver of precious Kyleigh. This was also one of my favorite births. I drove to Syracuse at midnight and got there 10 minutes before the pushing began in a room with only the delivery spot light on.
I also want to take a moment and talk about this dad. I have had some pretty awesome dad to bes in the past. But none of them can compare to this guy and his excitement to be a father for the first time. ❤

Johnson Fresh 48
My very first Fresh 48!!! 🙂
Let me tell you a little back story about this day, I got the message that Kyleigh had been born right around when I got the message from a birth client that she was going ot be induced the next day in Syracuse. The weird part, my birth clients baby was also going to be named Kyleigh. They were not born on the same day, but only a few hours shy. 😉
It was pretty crazy though! I love this job and seeing little fresh babies makes it even better, so two for one was pretty much the best thing ever for me.
Oh! And lets not forget that this Kyleigh was my very first blonde baby! I had never seen one before in person! Its adorable!

Price Maternity
My laptop is back and I have 14 sessions to get caught up on! Oh my! Lol. It is a little overwhelming but moving right along to this maternity session with the Prices’.
Evelyn is already lucky to have such kind and loving parents. I know they are going to do awesome and I mean come on, with these two as her parents, she is bound to be freaken adorable. 😉
With only a few days left until her due date I know I am an anxious for arrival! But first check out how stunning Maddison looks while pregnant. I’m jealous. I wish I looked that good rocking a baby bump.

Galvan Family
You might remember this family from several past sessions. Micheal recently came home from deployment and I was pretty said that I couldn’t be their homecoming photographer. I wish I could do all my friends. But to make up for it Mary scheduled a family session right away!
And Dalton. He is simply growing up too fast. As a photographer, it can be really shocking to see how fast time really goes when you see a baby whose newborns you did, pop back up on your calender for a cake smash. I really can not believe it. But beyond that, he was THE easiest baby I have ever worked with. This guy was so chill the entire time. I just had to look at him and smile and he would smile right back at me! I’m really looking forward to his 1st birthday session next month!

Elgort Homecoming
Last homecoming of the season right here. My next one wont be until next month at some point. I am always sad to see the homecomings end, elated that now everyone from that unit is home, but still a little sad that it will be a while until I get a chance to shoot my favorite session.
Meghan had a bit of a rollercoster with having an homecoming photographer, she came to me after to being able to contact someone else, only to get moved to another group that was already booked, to get moved back to yet another group. But lucky for her, she texted me about her chance before anyone even knew it had happened yet! I am so happy I was able to be there. ❤
We managed to find Lt Elgort before the ceremony even started and moved over to him so as soon as they were dismissed, Meghan could run into his arms.
Halstead Maternity
GUESS WHAT!? I am currently waiting with my bag packed, sitter on stand by to head to the hospital to do this momma’s birth!!! She is being induced today and I am so freaken excited. Let me tell you something that has nothing to do with this post. Lol.
Being a birth photographer is stressful, you are on call for an entire month. At a moments notice, you have to have a babysitting plan in place, bags packed and ready to go sit with someone for anywhere from 3 hours to days, literal days. But if you even for a second thing that it isn’t worth it, than you are not meant to be a birth photographer. Please stop hiring people. Stick to something else. I love every minute of it. Heck, I will gladly spend 24 hours without eating or sleeping to be able to capture those moments for someone.
Especially when that person is as sweet as Tiffany, we had a great time during her maternity sessions. A lot of laughs where shared and it shows in these pictures. I don’t know what it is really about maternity images exactly but I always underestimate them and then end up being floored at how much I love them. This session actually caused me to take the leap and add maternity pictures to my specialty. I know that a few months ago I thought I was ready to take leap and stop booking everything that breathed. But this time I really think that I am ready this time, to begin on photographing homecomings, couples, maternity and births. ❤

Hendrickson Homecoming
This homecoming was another that was pushed so many times. Over the course of probably 12 time changes, this homecoming was pushed back 5 days. 5 days.
At the time that they finally got their reunion it was on the 289th day of deployment, the exact number of days that they had been married the day that he left. If that isn’t magical, then I don’t know what is. I had a big long post written out for this homecoming but it crashed right when I went to hit post. Lol. But really Jeanna is an awesome person who remained strong throughout the deployment and really earned this day. I am so glad that I was the one that she choose to be there for her. When someone books you for a homecomings, it is similar to being booked for a wedding or birth. You are being committed to their memory for one of the biggest days of their lives. ❤
